High School Diploma with minimum 2.5 GPA, plus mandatory audition

Guildhall's own Academic Entry Criteria page gives a real, explicit USA-applicant figure: 'High School Diploma (minimum GPA of 2.5) AND One of the following: SAT I (minimum balanced score of 1000); OR ACT (composite score of 21 or above); OR 2 Advanced Placement (AP) exams at grade 2 or above.' A genuine contrast case to the existing conservatoire precedents (Royal Academy of Music, Royal Irish Academy of Music, Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, all with no SAT/ACT path at all): Guildhall is the first UK conservatoire added here with a real, direct, published test-score floor. Every undergraduate applicant must also audition or submit a portfolio; Guildhall holds music auditions in London, New York, Hong Kong, Seoul, Taipei, and Tokyo, confirmed via the school's own international-admissions page, and applies direct rather than through UCAS/CUKAS. International tuition (GBP 31,790/year for the 2026/27 entering BMus cohort, up from GBP 27,810 the prior year) confirmed on Guildhall's own fee-schedule page.
